It all depends on when they'll have enough to refurb and put on sale. I have been following this for a while now and I haven't seen the 64gb pop up within the last couple of months.

Currently only seeing the 1TB OLED and 256GB LCD in stock.

EDIT - The 64GB refurb sells for $279, but is currently OOS.

$279.

I have the 512GB OLED version and upgraded to a 2TB SSD. If I did it again, I'd probably just go with a fast microSD card to save money but oh well
Have a TON of emulated games on mine and just beat Jak and Daxter using OpenGoal.

Right now playing through Wolfenstein: The New Order using Heroic Games Launcher - it allows you to install/play games from Epic, GOG and Amazon Prime Games.

These sold out fast.
I see a lot on sale on facebook marketplace. Most are barely used.
Heck i got mine 64gb and swapped the SSD with 512gb total cost with tax was $330.
I only played with it like 5 times.

The sell rates are crazy!

Was eyeing an oled refurb, but saw this post too late. Oh well.

Looking at patterns, about every 2 weeks, another batch is ready. I gave in and ordered a new one (512 OLED). Figured early enjoyment is worth it.

But wish you luck in getting that Slickdeal on the refurb!!

I saw different sellers sell one same unit for an insane low price, it seemed like a scam I will pass on marketplace.

I don't know much about Steam, but I'm old and want to play Star Wars: X-wing vs. Tie Fighter. Can I play old games like this simulation one on Steam Deck or play GOG games on it if I purchased there?

No, Linux is hard and not user friendly unless things just work.
I sold mine as soon as the Rog Ally came out. Windows, might not perform as well, but it is way more user friendly. Plus, EVERYTHING works. Steam Deck can't play a lot of online games, because DRM is not compatible. Which is sad, because a lot of those online games are very light on hardware demands, and SD would be awesome for them.
