With snow sports and the helmet mount, you have to be very careful when getting onto a lift to not whack someone in the face when turning your head

The X5's biggest benefit is hopefully one you never have to use, which is a user-replaceable lens. Right now, if a lens gets scratched, your only choice is to send it off to Insta, pay $130 (X4's cost, not sure about the others), and wait up to 2 weeks to get it back. Yes, there are lens guards, but I found that on both the X3/X4 in snow, they'd always have a droplet of water that just clings onto the guard, ruining the shot, and/or they fog up. Don't have any problems in the snow if the lens guards are removed

the Low light would be the only selling point for me, I do alot of motorcycle riding at night, it would be a nice feature but im trying to convince myself if its worth the price difference, thank you for the input!
