I read the first 2 books and the TV show is actually much better. I'm surprised to see it here... I just watched the entire show for the third time and finished it last week.
My only complaint is that the final season feels a little rushed, but it still ends very well. It actually ends... it just doesn't stop abruptly like so many other shows.
Even if you don't like sci-fi, I'd say this is worth a watch. You can mentally substitute the spaceships for sailing ships on an ocean if you really want to... the drama, writing, acting, etc. is amongst the top I've ever seen.

I think first season was great and established my interest.
I'm not a prime subscriber, but this at least used to be a part of prime video (if you're already a subscriber).
