It's good for a quick lunch, just use 1/4 of the packet. It becomes diabetic levels of sweet if you use the whole seasoning packet.

Is there anything out there like this but half the sodium? My goal is to stay under 2000 mg a day and this is half of that. I suppose I could not use the full seasoning but then how much salt is it πŸ˜‹?

Most ramen type stuff you can get away with half a packet and it will still be fairly flavorful. And if you are sticking to 2g per day then 500 for a full meal is great. If you wanted to indulge you could do a full one occasionally but I would get a higher class of ramen for those ones so it is extra worth it.

Thanks for the BBQ [amazon.com] tip; got that and the Sweet Chili [amazon.com] for around $4 each. (25% coupon can be applied again on a different Nissin product)

Nissin Cup Noodle Salt Off [foodnavigator-asia.com] seems to be what you're looking for, but unfortunately, it appears to be only available in Japan. Taking potassium supplements [clevelandclinic.org] can lower blood pressure and counteract high sodium intake as wellβ€”at least according to the Cleveland Clinic.

It doesn't come with a separate seasoning packet.

If it's ramen, just drink half of the soup. I NEVER drink the whole soup even in the restaurant. Probably like 1/3 to 1/2 max.

this isn't some gourmet 24hr bone broth, it's just there to flavor the noodles

just don't drink the soup

cut the listed sodium significantly

Is the RAOH Tonkotsu good price? Or can I get a better price at Asian supermarket?

While not using the entire packet is generally solid advice, these don't have a packet. You just add water.

This product is designed to be soupless if prepared correctly - all the water is absorbed and its a dry ramen
