I was about to add it but when I clicked the link I didn't see a mouse for $9.99 probably sold out fast or had very limited stock.

Might be getting old. What the hell does 8k mean on a gaming mouse? Guessing polling rate? Even if it is polling rate, what does that buy you? USB is still refresh limited, as is screen update. So, best case you're looking at 144Hz. Missing something.

How low can they go? These are apparently horrible in that they break very easily

These work very well except for the scroll wheel. It starts to jitter pretty soon, like within half a year.
I have this wired one and the wireless one (X20?). You can try to get warranty to replace it, but you pay shipping, not worth it.
The only way I found that fixed it was this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4P_G-CsEGys

Not sure why I was getting down voted. $10 mouse I am not buying, so I don't really care. Just seems like I might be missing something.
It just says polling rate, which is completely useless. You're still limited by the USB bandwidth and the screen refresh time. You can poll the mouse position eleventy billion times a second, but if you're running 144Hz without any frame drop, you're still capped at 6.9ms per frame. Even if it could report 8,000 or 16,000 HID packets a second and Windows could somehow consume those updates without stressing a kernel level thread, it's a USB 2.0 mouse, so it would be bandwidth limited and a vast majority of those packets would be discarded.

The color customization wasn't bad but the scroll wheel lasted less than a month.
