I have this wired one and the wireless one (X20?). You can try to get warranty to replace it, but you pay shipping, not worth it.

It just says polling rate, which is completely useless. You're still limited by the USB bandwidth and the screen refresh time. You can poll the mouse position eleventy billion times a second, but if you're running 144Hz without any frame drop, you're still capped at 6.9ms per frame. Even if it could report 8,000 or 16,000 HID packets a second and Windows could somehow consume those updates without stressing a kernel level thread, it's a USB 2.0 mouse, so it would be bandwidth limited and a vast majority of those packets would be discarded.
