My favorite is the original Die Hard by far. It's one of the best 80's action movies ever made, along with another great John McTiernan movie, Predator. That dude really knew how to make action movies back then.
Die Hard with a Vengeance starts out amazing, but falls apart in the final act.
The rest? Reminds me of the Terminator franchise, where I know I have seen every movie post T2, and they were fine to watch - nowhere near as bad as people make them out to be, but I cannot remember a single redeeming quality about any of them to warrant a re-watch. 30 years later (I'm old), I imagine the plot of Die Hard 2 and Speed 2: Cruise Control are totally intertwined. Just swap out a boat and a plane.
Have the same problem with Judge Dredd and Demolition Man. Futuristic movie with Stalone playing straight face and Rob Schneider popping in randomly for comedic relief. Does any of that seem memorable? Or, does it all just blur together over time. 🤔
