Same …. bottom loading is the way to go now …
You can say the old "until X breaks" about literally everything. I've had mine for over two years with no issues. I bought my folks one for Christmas a while back and theirs is still good. But if you prefer to play it safe in your mind and keep straining your back while making a mess, more power to you.
