I own the 2024 Razr 5G and yes, that phone does include a one-time replacement screen provided by U Break I Fix. I think it was good for 2 years from purchase and assume (right or wrong?) that the 2025 phone also includes it.

To The people who have received their phones. Could you please try and put a non total wireless SIM in your phone to see if it is locked or unlocked or check in the settings to see if the status says it is locked or unlocked. Just trying to test a theory that may be total wireless sent out unlocked phones on accident and that's why they are recalling them.

For anyone having activation or port issues, instead of reg TW CS, choose the "more options" in the IVR (recorded prompts) and select or say "disconnect". You'll be xfr'd to someone almost immediately and they have all the tools you need.

I mean, yeah, it's a little shady to abuse the retention department, but I got stuff to do, I'm not sitting on hold for 45 mins, told some bs, get disconnected while on hold or xfr'd, and then call back in and wait for a supervisor, like a lot of people here did.

It was a 5 minute call and my phone was on my account and working.
Smarter not Harder, friends. 🙂

Does anybody know how long we can wait before activating?

I don't know exactly. But I got my phone June 6 and just activated it today. A little over two weeks. No issues

Thanks for sharing the data point. I asked them, and their chat rep said to activate within a year. Not sure if it's safe to trust a random rep though.

For those who received and activated their phone last month you may want to recheck if you still have service. I received mine when the website was having issues with activation and had to go to customer service chat. The phone was activated with an eSim and not the included sim but I did receive confirmation that it was with the 3-month plan with talk, text, and data. Checked the phone today and the 5G UW signal was there but there was no service. Just went to chat again and they reactivated the phone and confirmed my service end date in Aug. Since the phone requires 60 days of service to unlock it would be a good idea to check that the phone does have service during the 2-3 month period.

For what it's worth, many people in the TracFone forum bought phones bundled with service when they were on sale at HSN/QVC and activated them up to a year later without problems. TracFone is a sister-brand of TW.

Had the order delayed for weeks over 3 times already. I tried to cancel the order because who knows how long this will take and customer support says you cannot cancel it and to return it later when the package comes....

they told me to get a charge back from the credit card lol...

Not even sure if we can refund this since the phone was "free" and they made you pay for 3 months
