No, stainless is usually $99 at Costco. This is not a sale.

Also seeing how the refurbished ember 2 10 oz hit like $35, real hoping for less than $50 for the actual 14 oz useful size one.

just a warning... this one of those products you think you'll use but don't after a few weeks. I see them all the time on the used market place. Most people don't need their coffee or tea hot for long periods of time

Got this for $70 + $5 shipping from Costco a few months ago. Use it every morning. Used to buy Peet's/Starbucks everyday when I was in the office, so this was a few week's worth of coffees at the office.

I can see that. But I just bought my 2nd from Woot for $35.
I use mine all the time. I'm a coffee sipper, not a fast drinker, so this is wonderful for me.

1 day with the mug and I already feel I'm not going to use it much, the charging hardware is simply too much, can not move around that huge charger and the disk all the time.
Really wish the much could charge on any qi charger or with a usb cable directly.

So this mug makes coffee?

LOL. Obviously not. But my cheap $20 Bella coffee maker makes good coffee every morning for me. And now I can take my time drinking it.

Is it for everyone? Of course not. It's a luxury and as I use it every day, so it's well worth the cost to me.

To me the biggest problem with Ember products is their customer service. You can only message them through their Web site and they take forever to reply. My charging coaster broke and it took a month to get a warranty replacement.

At work I get interrupted a lot so my cappuccino always gets cold. I tried my mug today (bought from Best Buy in sage green) and I love it. Kept my drink nice and hot so I didn't feel rushed to finish it.

Some people might have a legit use for it, but I'm pretty sure the bulk of their sales come from impulse buyers who buy it due to the gimmick and barely use it. Got mine at Goodwill for $4, in the box and looked to be barely used. (But had some of the white paint chipping on the top edge)

Yep, I see it on the used market place all the time. My sisters also have this mug and never use it lol

Exactly why you buy through Costco. Problem? No problem, return it.

I bought a 16oz Tumbler mug online last October. So far the lid has broke twice and the charging coaster once. If I wanted the regular cup type, yeah I would buy from Costco.

This is what I have.

While I respect your opinion and anyone who may not drink their coffee slowly, I hate how much I love this mug. I use it every single morning for coffee. I'm not a super fast drinker and love working and drinking at my own pace while the coffee stays the perfect temp the whole time. Really depends on your use needs.
