Thanks OP. I have a lot of Subscribe and Save items so it brought mine down to $8.38 for the 40oz bag. May pick up a couple of the 21oz dark roast beans too.

Last time I ordered 8 O'clock coffee from Amazon it had no expiration date and did not taste as good. Not sure if it was stale or if 8 O'clock has switched to cheaper bean varieties to cut costs.

YES!
This is the best whole bean coffee for my taste. For all of you who continue to glorify (fake made in USA) Lavazza, try this, and you might never go back.

Appears the coupon is one time use for the specific brand so I recommend maximizing the coupon and getting the six 12oz bags

Surprisingly decent coffee for the price. I daily drink Mt Comfort from Costco, and it's a decent bit better, but also more expensive.

One good thing is, if you don't like this, you can keep it on hand as the beans you grind and toss after running Grindz through your burr grinder!

I don't buy whole beans without seeing their roasting date (not the best-by date), and the date should be no earlier than 2 weeks ago.

With commodity beans that would be truly irrelevant, their warehouse lifespan could be years ...burn on!

I'd be willing to give this brand a shot -- but I don't see any good deals here on espresso beans (dark roast required). I'm not in love with Lavazza, but it's decent and when I can get whole espresso beans @ 32oz for ~$10, it's a damn good deal.

WRONG!
Beans definitely "go bad" - they loose the potency of their original taste/flavor, and will eventually begin to taste rancid.
