All I did was click the in app offer and it gave me a 5 piece with two sauces for $5. Weirdly enough, the location I went to threw in a biscuit for free.

With KFC, sometimes the offers are not aligned with what is on the menu.
It is like a made up item that comes with the offer and so you have to click the offer.

KFC changed its name from Kentucky Fried Chicken because they could not call what they served chicken. I remember reading about that somewhere, but cannot compare.
Total BS.

Not true at all. When YUM Brands (a division of PepsiCo) bought Kentucky Fried Chicken in 1986, they shortened the name to KFC because marketing research showed people had a negative view of the brand because the word "fried" was in it and therefore associated it as unhealthier than other fast food.

That was to lessen the blow. I do not think everything chicken product KFC sells is 100% chicken. Maybe the bone in, but nuggets, tenders, etc. I doubt.

Kind of like when something catastrophic happens and the CEO comes on and states, "Our customer's safety is our priority."
