This keyboard looks rad as hell but all the reviews say you can't read the keys with the backlight on which kinda defeats the purpose of the whole thing.

Plus I don't want to get a fancy keyboard if I can't get a matching 10-key.

Okay, the C64 one will DEFINITELY be the next model to get discounted. 🤞

Starting to think it's never going to be the C64 one.

Shhh. Keep your voice down or you'll attract the (ignorant) attention of Mr "It's Lazy To Release The Same Keyboard With Only A Different Color" 😂

I can confirm. I got this keyboard last week. I love the feel of it, but the backlighting on the keys are awful. The light drowns out everything even at limited brightness. Not to mention the software is not that great and the lights will just go into sleep mode after 5 minutes of no use. Which is fine i guess if you're wireless, but i'm legit wired in. Functionally, this keyboard sucks, but it does look cool. It's a work keyboard now.

Keychron. They also go on sale at Woot a lot and come with Mac keys and can be toggled between Windows/Mac layout.

+1 for keychron. I have a Keychron C2 wired (full, white LED) for my main/game PC, and a Keychron K5 wireless (full, low-profile keycaps, RGB LED) for work, and both are great keyboards. I've had it for over a year now, and battery life on the K5 (with LEDs off) is long enough that I cannot give a specific time frame for charging. My only critique of the K5 is the bottom left ctrl button can get a little tilted after repeated use, but not enough to affect functionality, only visually.

The Keycron Q series shows up on Woot for $70-100 and they are tanks (compared to the standard but good $70 KBs). Heavy, thocky (if I'm using the adjective properly), and the navy colorway gives me the impression that I'm working at Lumon. Smilie

Curiously, they don't have an Xbox-styled one yet, but they do make 'matching' keypads that'll hook up to it magnetically.

I own the C64 and IBM versions of this KB and I love them. I don't use the "super buttons" or the joystick. I did buy the matching numpads for both. I should also mention that I don't use the software for them either and I'm sure they can do more than I use them for.

Would anyone recommend something that is like this but without a click? Also for a better idea, something like a blue but without the click. I just need something for work that doesn't click and drive everyone insane.
