Not to be mean, but I can't help but wonder how much people weigh that say this chair is falling apart on them. I bought one of these in 2018 or 19 and eventually had to replace the arm cushions because they got chewed up on the underside of an old desk, but other than that this thing still looks and feels great and I've been full time WFH since the pandemic. Literally use this chair 4-6 hours a day, 5 days a week for the last 5+ years and it's rock solid still. I'm not a tiny guy, I'm 210 lbs but have been as heavy as 250 using this chair. I have to imagine that the people that say this is breaking on them are the same people that I used to sell chairs to over a decade ago when I worked at OD and they'd come in upset about the 300lb weight limit on most chairs. I paid something like 260 for this when I bought it and thought it was a great price, this is an amazing deal if you are in need of a good chair and don't want to shell out the big bucks on a fancy name brand chair.
I have this chair. It's not bad - but that's the price I paid years ago. The bolts all start breaking in half eventually - but if you can get them out (dremel to make a slot) then you can just replace them.
Definitely not a $600 chair

I have two of these chairs and love them. Got the first one early during the pandemic and has held up very well for the past 5 years. The cushion still feels brand new and so much is adjustable.
This is a steal for <$200

How is the cushion holding up? I found a lot of chairs break down to quickly and become uncomfortable sitting for longer period of time. I've had this one on watch for a while.
They swap out the materials to something cheaper (i.e. plastic) and they remove some functionality (e.g. it's missing some adjustment settings like a locking back).
For $200, I think it's a steal.

Ordered this yesterday at same price. Delivery expected May 23. I don't like buying chairs I can't sit in first, but the option to return to store if needed and generally positive reviews across many sites made me go for it. People seem to compare it to an ergohuman. We shall see.

For armrests I recommend these. https://www.amazon.com/Aloudy-Erg...01M8F9IYC/
They add height, which is good for tall folks, and they are much more comfortable than most armrests. Presumably they'll prevent wear as well.

That's not even close to being the same chair…unless you mean this is a temu knockoff of the eurotech chair.

I might have linked slightly different models. It's always hard to tell with these things, but they definitely sell rebranded Eurotech chairs under their own brands.

I am in the market for a new chair and it would be helpful to understand what is informing your opinion.
Here's another, for example.
