I've been afraid to do this in case I scratch the glass. Most abrasive i have went is a magic eraser but it still doesn't clean then all

I've used this to take some of the gloss coat off of the back of a guitar neck. Reading some of the posts above, I'll have to try it on a shower door to get the soap spots off.
