9 of the 20 pieces are for sanding, so keep that in mind. It's still a good price. These blades last so much longer than the $1 from Amazon.

I still use the cheap blades for redneck stuff like cutting drywall, removing grout, and scraping caulk.

Also, keep in mind you don't wanna put too much pressure onto the blade. Let the blade do the work. Too much force causes the blade to heat up too much, and then they're trash

I have a similar Milwaukee kit from a slick deal and they were good, but I wasn't particularly impressed by them. I think the Ezarc carbides are better.

This is a total ripoff. $100 would be a super ripoff. $45 is about double what you should pay.

Do you have anything at half this price to recommend?

Sure, just go buy some cheap blades on Amazon. Here is screenshot. Cheap "Pecham" brand blades. 24 in a pack for $18.99. Over 12k reviews with nearly 5 stars. If they don't have the blades you want, buy a similar pack with the blade style you want. There's plenty of them on Amazon and they work fine. You don't need expensive blades for an oscillating tool. The cheap ones work fine. - 6 of the pieces in the Milwaukee set aren't even blades. Just cheap sandpaper. Big waste of money.

Just for anyone who cares, if you have a star-lock oscillating tool like the FLEX brand, this open-lok set will not fit.

Agreed except when doing specific material cuts like brick or various metals - then quality metal blades are clutch to make cuts efficiently and/or at all.
