After comparing this to the Sony 90XL from costco thats the same price.. I think the sony beats this out.

I own the Q80c and it's a great TV. Totally underrated especially by Rtings which is the only semi negative review I've seen on it the other professional reviews are glowing. Rtings gave it a 6.9 rating for HDR movies yet they gave the Samsung d7200, a model several rungs down the line, a score of 7.0. My Q80c has all the brightness you'd want..I have to keep it down or my eyes hurt. The picture quality is awesome and the upscaling is great. The colors are bright, clear and clean. The Q80D has improved over the Q80C. It has an improved processor. The HDR and SDR are brighter. It has better local dimming. I wish mine was a "D" but I got a great deal on the "C" and Im very happy. No minileds, no Oled, but Im sure it will last for at lest 10 years.
