I love these, but I just can't get behind the yellow.
Still not sure I'm on board with a $2000 quartz watch, but the yellow at least would strongly remind me of the TAG/Heuer Formula 1 watch I bought back before one M. Schumacher ever squeezed into an F1 car.
The orange is interesting as well but alas not part of this promotion. But I'd take either over the green that was on offer over the weekend.

At the risk of getting a bunch of thumbs down by 'watch snubs', I feel the need to explain just how incredibly precise the movement in this HAQ (High Accuracy Quartz) watch is... it's their caliber 82 which is essentially a COSC-certified Swiss-made ETA-251-264, a 27 jewels superquartz movement, part of ETA's Thermoline family of movements. These thermocompensating quartz movements measure the temperature hundreds of times per day and then use the information to adjust the frequency of the quartz's vibrations to make up for any irregularities. All this leads to a hyper-accurate watch with a +/- 10 seconds per year! (FYI which is more accurate than the popular Grand Seiko spring drive movements). Not to mention the impressive 27 jewels in a quartz watch, which helps optimize its durability, drastically reduce friction, improving the accuracy and efficient power transfer within the movement (mainspring to the escapement), all to maximize the accuracy & longevity of this time piece.
Now to give you an idea of how impressive this movement is, the typical quartz watch is accurate to +/- 15 seconds a month! Heck the very popular Bulova Accutron w/ the precisionist movement and its iconic electronic tuning fork, is accurate to ÷/- 5 seconds per month!

yes, haqs are a thing but there is something about having to need an actual battery that needs to be replaced (even if it's every 50 years or so). accuracy used to be the main selling point of sealed quartz watches but now that eco-drive and spring drive are catching up, there's almost no reason to pick an haq.

Currently only one I'm aware of is the Breitling Chronospace Evo Night Mission. I think older generations of Certina DS and DS2 had that movement
