Been using this exact stuff in my weed eater and it starts on the first or second pull every single time, don't drain it, don't mess with it,,weed eater is probably 8 years old sits in the barn all winter and it starts on first or second pull every single friggin time. For $21 its worth it, and no i am not interested in a weak ass battery weed eater.
$14.20/gal of gas hardly seems like a deal. A gal of ethanol free and a bottle of 2 cycle oil can be had for far cheaper.
Agree, this is all I run in my chainsaw and weed eater. Never a problem, they can sit for 6 months and fire right up every time.

That's what I used to do. This premixed stuff works better in my blower and weed wacker. Night and day.

That's fine and all, but this is for 2-cycle motors requiring mixed gas (fuel+oil)... not the same thing.

Also: Typical ethanol blend gasoline + stabil is still less stable than ethanol-free gas (which these days can be kind of hard to come by)

Chainsaw's definitely a good example - usually infrequent use for most folks, so it's good to avoid ethanol blends that can hasten deterioration of fuel lines/systems. 👍

TL;DR: This stuff definitely isn't cheap 'per gallon', but if through you're not usually going to go through much of it in a given use, it pays for itself.

Depending on where you live, the biggest problem is finding ethanol free stuff. So mostly agree with you but this makes sense for some

Did we just become best friends?

This is a great deal. Most ethanol-free pump fuel is 90 octane. This stuff is 92, with good synthetic oil, and is basically homogeneous, since I assume they mix it at an elevated temperature. Pour and rip! The cans also have a great spout and never dribble/run.

I can buy ethanol-free gas at the pump here (which is GREAT because I run a LOT of 2-stroke in my boat, snowmobiles, motorcycles, and OPE) but they don't have it at the pump near our summer cottage (a greenie bastion). I buy this stuff for the weed whacker and leaf blower I have down there. It's worth the money if your machines are gonna sit for months and you don't burn gallons of fuel through them per year.
I do love ethanol-laced gas, though. Because I get outdoor power equipment for cheap, or even free, that the owner let sit and get gummed up with that crap and they just buy a new machine instead of fixing it. I clean, or replace, the carb. and all is well. Cool
This is a great deal.

Yeah, they must use fuel stabilizers in these otherwise they wouldn't last in the can for 3 years

You haven't tried a proper lithium powered weed eater if this is still your opinion. I have been using Ego for years, and migrated from a Stihl FS55R 2-stroke. If you're thinking of the ol' Black & Decker 18V NiMH tools of decades ago, then sure, but that's not where we are today.

The Ego has very close to the same power as the Stihl, but doesn't vibrate, doesn't make me reek of fumes, and zero maintenance. I also don't have to pay $14+/gal for fuel in a can lol. It also doesn't have a driveshaft running the whole length to lubricate, the motor is brushless, right down in the head, where it balances the battery pack weight very well.

It has been years since the last Slickdeal on this stuff, and that's the last time I had some. That lasted me a season or two. Great deal for me and my Echo trimmer and edger, about half the per unit price. Better stuff than I can mix up. In for two six-packs. Thanks OP!
