Which ones did you get? I just rescued a German shepherd and Husky mix (still kind of a puppy).
Amazon should really reset reviews when this sort of corporate ownership changes happen.

Just sort by most recent.Amazon being the giantest of the giant corporations is unlikely to be sympathetic to your cause.

Because many folks have been suckered into the "grain free" fad for their dogs, when in reality, only dogs with certain health problems or specific grain allergies should be fed grain free. There are no other health benefits and in fact is usually worse for most dogs.
Someone will undoubtedly reply or just say something like "where do dogs eat corn meal in the wild?" or some other strawman argument, as if what a dog scrounges up in the wild (dogs aren't wild animals) would be better or even good for them.

Nutrition goes beyond just hitting your macronutrients and micronutrients - you could certainly make some sort of paste or protein bar that is perfectly balanced nutritionally, but you certainly wouldn't want to eat that for every meal for the rest of your life. As a matter of fact, feeding bland but nutritionally complete food is used as a form of punishment in prison e.g. nutraloaf.
There's a psychological aspect to eating good food - having a nice steak or a fresh apple for example can significantly alter your mood and feeling of overall wellbeing. It's the same for dogs and cats -feeding them just dry pebbles day after day is lazy, and borderline abusive.

What does that have to do with grain free dry dog food being needed or healthy for most dogs? Seems like you have a misunderstanding in what was written.
Nothing of what I said meant anything other than "most dogs don't need a grain free dog food".
