For me, Oath in Felghana (PSP version) was a very nice return to the world of Ys III. The gameplay was completely changed, the story was refined, and it added voice acting-- a welcome addition. I quite enjoyed playing Oath, but it was tied to my PSP so I was limited to the small screen.
Enter Memoire, a modern day remaster of Oath. Though it wasn't my first time experiencing the story, I still thoroughly enjoyed playing through it. The wife and I played through it together (I played, she watched), so I just asked her, without context, how she felt about it for this comment.
Her exact words, "... I liked it. Why?"
That's a pretty glowing endorsement from her
In the end, it's not my favorite game, and probably won't be yours either, but I think it's worth a play through. $35 is probably the right price for it.

I saw that, but with these types of Switch releases, they tend to end up selling out and gaining value. Maybe they overprinted them this time.
