Only 300 nits brightness ? Oh man
Who the h puts 300 nits brightness screen on a high end laptop in 2025 ???
Well this outperforms the MacBook in performance and battery life and is compatible with more and cheaper software so it doesn't seem like that hard of a decision. Oh and there's plenty of examples where the same piece of software runs better on a PC. Adobe 's creative site and most triple A computer games come to mind. If 90%+ of your customers are on Windows where are you going to focus?

This is not a gaming laptop. Even 300 nits kind of high for working indoors. To save your eyes, it should be reduced further.

I guess you only use laptops in dim/dark environments .

It's an overkill for a majority of indoor conditions, except bright sunlight. Most of the office work is performed in such conditions. For sure, it's your choice to use high brightness and destroy your eyes.

If this were ASUS, you could bet there'd be a 3K 120Hz OLED display in it for the same price (or less). But being Dell, the display is rather underwhelming.

I believe the memory on board should say on die since it's likely part of the CPU in LNL.

RAM can't be upgraded on lunar lake. LPDDR always means soldered RAM.

300 nits doesn't even cut it for a school Chromebook. This is 2025, and this is one of their "premium" laptops? Trash.

Check monitors brightness setting under System - Display (if you're using Windows). Put it on 100% and try to read some black text on a white background.

The memory is not on-die. It's on the same package as the cpu, but it's separate discrete chips/dies. I am not aware of any mainstream CPU that has on-die memory.
