As soon as EF updates the SHP2 to connect the DPU and the DP3 at the same time, I'll be all over this one or similar deals.

Is the connectivity to both DPU and DP3 at the same time the only feature you are looking for?
If not what else is wrong with SHP2?

How easy are these to install with existing solar panels? I have sunrun and am looking to add batteries.

I wouldn't say it's the only feature, but I have a SHP2 with a DP3 currently. I'm looking to add capacity and would love the flexibility of adding a DPU to the mix and take the DP3 when Rving. The SHP2 is fine. I wish it had 24 circuits and 200 Amps for a true whole home system, but that will have to wait for the SHP3, maybe.

you did not give enough info. if you want people to answer your questions, provide more details. are your existing solar panels grid-tied with microinverters, or are your panels off-grid, etc? how many panels do you have, are they on the roof or on the ground, and what are the specs of your panels?

the more details you provide, the better chance you will get your questions answered.

Assuming you system is grid-tied, you'd need Ecoflow's Smart Panel 2 or a transfer switch depending on what you are trying to accomplish. There are plenty of YT vids on the subject.

Problem is ecoflow service after the sale is next to zero. If they fixed that, I'd be a customer for several products.
