Pleated pants make people look a little wider in the middle, so unless more people lose weight, or society stops caring about weight, I think flat front will stay in fashion for a while.
I suspect, except for some industries, most offices are slowly drifting to "wear-what-you-want-within-reason" though... and slacks will just become more and more casual.
At least this is 97% cotton.
I should point out that Jos A Bank makes comfortable pants, but don't expect them to be super stylish unless you are going for their $300+ suits.
They always have sales in their stores when they start running out of sizes, I recently got a stretch type of pants for $10, and they are super comfortable. I am now looking for pants like that just a bit better cut, sort of like something you might find at lululemon or something but a bit less sporty. Costco/BJs always sells those stretch pants, they recently had a $25 deal on Banana Republic one but I realized when I got home they got zero stretch. Returning those will keep an eye on other brands.
What is it, they are called "Performance Pants" or "Tech Pants" or "Traveler Pants".. not sure why they can't decide on a name.
I slowly want to stop wearing dress pants everyday with my shirts or polo etc, but I don't want to look like wearing pantaloons or parachute pants because pleated pants are not for everyone.
Set your iron to the cotton setting. Begin at the waistband, and press down along the crease line with steady, even pressure all the way to the hem. A bit of steam or a light spray of water helps smooth the process.
For a longer-lasting, sharper crease, lightly mist with starch before ironing. It strengthens the fabric and helps the line hold its shape.
At this price, I bought three pair. Thanks op
