Lowest price ever for these. Only works with the peanut butter chip flavor (which, imo, is the best).

Enjoy!

just a PSA, aloha bars were independently tested by an independent lab all were found to contain levels of cadmium, lead and arsenic. You can goggle it for yourself , even there website faq doesn't deny the heavy metals, as there is a section for it that even states this. .This is what happens when you source key ingredients like pumpkin seeds, etc from China. I will no longer buy any of there products as they completely gaslighted me when I contacted them regarding this! Buyers should research this for themselves.....Also you can view the lawsuit filed against Aloha online as well.

Damn. Thank you for posting this. So aggravating that we can't even trust ORGANIC products.

It probably comes from the brown rice and chocolate ingredients - don't buy anything with these ingredients unless they post their testing results

I feel like organic has become a joke especially when it comes to heavy metals!

This what you wrote 100% & the fact that sadly over 95% of organic pumpkin seeds all come from China. These bars all use pumpkin seeds in there protein blend

I pulled the website's language (bold emphasis is mine):

"We carefully test each product using an independent 3rd party provider - testing for lead, cadmium, mercury, and arsenic. The FDA requires strict testing of foods for heavy metals; the levels of heavy metals in ALOHA products are among the lowest found in similar products on the market, much lower than government regulations require."

I wonder if it's true that Aloha has comparably lower rates of heavy metals vs. other bars.

Organic ingredients is a good start, but these are INSANELY OVERPRICED.

Hard Pass based on price.

It's vague on purpose as this is what there "lawyers" most likely approved.
I specifically asked them for the #'s and They told me to go pound sand.. Why? If you have nothing to hide you would prove that which they refuse to do. If it looks and smells like S*** then it almost always is. Also, no one is going to accuse a company of this without having it objectively proven by a lab or can you see the massive legal repercussions/liability they would have. Yet, Aloha has done no such thing as they know that they can't or they would have done so early last year.
This tells me along with there FAQ statement that there bars all have heavy metals as stated in them. One thing I have learned in business is that a brand will defend itself 10000% if the statements against them have no merit but that is not the case here with Aloha. They could easily post there own lab results on there website to prove there are no issues, etc but that has not happened now for well over a year+. That speaks volumes right there and there refusal to tell/disclose loyal customers what the levels are in the bars we are eating. Nope, I will not purchase anything from them at this point. Keep in mind right on every single box of there bars it states, "FULL OF EVERYTHING YOUR BODY NEEDS AND FREE FROM ANYTHING IT DOESN'T!". We don't need Arsenic, Lead and Cadmium that's for sure!

I can't comment on the arsenic claims, but I will say that some Aloha bars are delicious. This flavor however is my least favorite. It does not have a chocolate exterior. The mint one is tastes like a girl scouts thin mint cookie.
