Great deal on these, worth time spent hunting. Our stores did not have them on display, had to find an employee, and give them the SKU from this thread, and hope for the best. Got one!

Wow! Based on your username, this didn't happen to be in bee caves did it? I went on Thursday and it scanned for the clearance price but they couldn't find any more in the back. I hadn't even considered the floor model

When I got mine it wasn't on the floor. I talked to an associate who checked his inventory device and it said there was one for $599 in the back. Then he went in the back and brought it out.

I bought the 2022 version in the 65" flavor in late 2022. I'm using it as a computer display mostly on at least 6 hours a day. Not long ago I noticed a bright spot at the bottom of the screen. Researching I discovered that this is a fairly common occurrence with this model. The LED light strip at the bottom of the screen can get very hot especially when the brightness is at or near 50. The light diffusion panel eventually warps and the backlight becomes less uniform (not that it is great to begin with). Rtings.com had this issue with this TV (and many other edge lit models) in their long term tests.
I was very fortunate in that I bought through BJ's while they were providing four extra years of a (turns out) Samsung warranty. Samsung actually replaced the TV with the remaining warranty carrying over on a new 2024 75" unit!
Bottom line - the TV is a midrange unit that has a neat art mode but is normally way overpriced. This price makes it a steal. Samsung support can work (was I lucky?)
Oh, don't run the brightness maxed!
