Yeah this is the bog standard >30 year old take, but there's still something endearing about the movie theater experience. The popcorn smell, the (albeit so overpriced) popcorn itself, the nostalgia of a movie date, and awesome video and sound even my home theater can't really compete with.

AMC is much better. The last time I was at Regal, they literally had a red exit sign right behind the screen. It was shining through the screen so even in lighter scenes you can see the annoying sign.

ROFL. We had a $1 movie theater back in the 90's that had a couple theaters like that. And they were the primary larger theaters in the middle of the building. The 4 smaller theaters on the sides had the exits on the side walls.

It wasnt uncommon to see a family with a little girl wearing those loose fitting jelly shoes come into the theater, pick an isle, and when they go into the isle, her shoe would get stuck to the floor along the way and her foot easily came out. When they step barefoot onto other stick or wetness, they start to freak out. Adults would loose a flip flop, but not as dramatic.

Do small popcorns and drinks get free refills? I know my local AMC requires you to get a large drink or popcorn for free refills, and the popcorn is in a bucket, so they know.

Used this for final destination yesterday, no problems. The movie was awesome btw, low expectations from the franchise but this one was very good!
