As far as semi-new releases that are still likely selling well, probably.
Death Stranding, Ghost Runner 2, Callisto Protocol, Watch Dogs 2, GTA V, Control, Guardians of the Galaxy, Borderlands 2/Pre-Sequel, Tomb Raider and Arkham Trilogies are all other AAA standouts. Lots of smaller/indie titles I'm happy to have, too.
I think I honestly boot up Epic more than Steam these days, so it's working as far as getting people to use their platform at least.
I know a lot of people prefer to have everything in one launcher, but personally I actually find having my games spread around is a benefit, so I can share games with friends/family and still have plenty of other options that won't conflict with each other. I even run separate Steam accounts for mostly multiplayer vs single player games.
On the software side competition has been great, the hardware side with Nvidia/AMD is another story...

Picked this up yesterday and already put in quite a few hours. It's a little cheesy but so extremely refreshing to play a game that has carefully crafted bespoke environments versus the open world asset dump -> copy paste that's becoming so common in game design today.
Edit: Also plays pretty damn smooth at 4K on my RTX 3070, I'm impressed!
This is such a silly thing to say. What asset dump crap are you playing? This game is OK, but it's hardly anything special at all--and nothing to set it above many modern releases.
Dead Island 2 was free for PSN+ so I gave it a try... I was really surprised at how well done it was. It's not some huge sprawling map that will take ya 50 hours to work thru... I think I beat it in like... 13 hours of quality gameplay. Well made maps and quest/travel system. The combat is fun and gruesome... and doesn't really wear out it's welcome. Maybe you could get really invested in it if ya chased trophies, but otherwise something good to play thru in a few sessions.
Nice! As a grown adult, sometimes you need that more simple, straightforward game in between busy days to destress by having your mind zoned into another world. DI 2 it is 😀
How can I download happy game on my s25? I just got this phone and it seems so much more confusing than apple. Anyways, I redeemed the code on epic games but have trouble downloading it because in the play store it's still $7
