I've only compared their demos side by side at Target, and XM4/5 have slightly better detail/soundstage. ULT is by no means bad at those (with ULT off), just not as good. With ULT 1 and 2 on, there's tons of bass without muddying up the sound too much.

I know. I think that is why this deal is hot. Secondipity (almost new product) and eBay's two year warranty. I don't think qiedly is offering that.\ and is being shipped from China. I bet those are fakes.

a bunch of refurbs on ebay, I might choose these for the size and comfort over sound. I have sun damaged ears so very touchy and these would also protect mower and sun damage.

Dang, check out most recent reviews on Amz….most negative on build quality. Forget it, will wait for something else. These refurbs might have been returns due to those exact build issues….worry later will exhibit the same issues.

I wish Sony would make an actual white pair of headphones. These, the XM4, 5, and 6 are some disgusting gray color and they call it white. I love the performance but hate the aesthetics of Sony.
