If we are interested in the versatility, but would use it Rarely, is there a corded or air tool that is value oriented to consider as a better alternative?

Possibly even one of those grinder attachments that works well anyone would recommend?

I use mine like a file, because I don't own any quality files. Bought a bunch of Chinese belts from Amazon and they've held up decently

There is a nice corded bauer band file and a nice baxter air powered model at harbor freight.

Any comments on the battery size compatibility with other Dewalt 20V products?

If I look at the battery with tool it lists the part as "Powerstack Compact Type" DCPB034. One review says the battery doesn't fit any other tools.
