Adidas made a pledge to use only recycled polyester in its products by 2024I have never heard of recycled polyester and looked it up, and supposedly, the polyester is recycled from old plastic bottles. The benefit is it is better for the environment. But the disadvantage is that it releases microplastic during washes. However it seems non-recycled polyester does the same.
