From reddit: "Watch the Gathering, then the show all the way through Season 4. After Season 4 but before Season 5 watch In the Beginning. Then watch Season 5. Then Thirdspace, River of Souls, Call to Arms. Then Crusade. Then watch the remaining movies as you see fit. I know many say watch Thirdspace in the middle of Season 4, because the events happen at that time, however, it is told in hindsight and so I say it should be viewed later."
All that being said: It's a sci-fi show absolutely worth watching. It's more of a soap opera set in space, but does cover some topics star trek covers, but star trek usually wraps it up within a single episode.
If Blake's 7 and Dr Who are your thing, this is best thing since Star Wars.

Here's a comment on a Babylon 5 remaster that I assume is the same remaster being sold here:
CG scenes tend to have a shimmer/line pattern to them from the uprez from whatever that broadcast master they used, too.
Still, the rest of the time (which is like 80% of the show) it looks great. They didn't overdo the digital cleanup/noise reduction either, which happens on a lot of these kinds of old film transfer projects.
