My local Marshalls had a couple of pegs of these $30 Adidas waist packs for $9.99 amazon.com/dp/B0BZQYW9Q9 but the next day when I found a reason to buy one, all were sold.

I have two of these and they're really great. Easily fit my wallet, car keys, chapstick and iPhone 15 Pro (not max!).

I think you might be able to fit that camera in there, but it will be super tight. I wouldn't recommend for a camera. It's perfect for a thinner wallet and phone and that's about it. Definitely want something larger if you want to put a camera or other stuff in there.

Will this fit a micro sub-compact like a 43X?

So I looked it up. It's unfortunately too small for X100VI.

The Fujifilm X100VI has dimensions of 5.04 x 2.94 x 2.18 inches.

Dimensions of this fanny pack: 7.5 x 4 x 1.75 inches.

I have several sling bags of various sizes for different purposes but still found this a useful addition to the collection mostly for a specific purpose: sporting events/concerts/whatever where you've got bag size limits. This has come in under every max size I've encountered and it's great for slightly cumbersome things I wouldn't want in my pocket, like a tube of sunscreen or my kid's epi-pen. Sometimes I put another stuff bag inside it, in case I might need to haul around several bottles of water and snack, etc. once I'm in the venue. Unlike the rest of the sling bags, this guy actually gets worn on my waist (thank you, REI, for your generous sizing, BTW), so it could also go under a shirt and be a more secure place for my wallet or keys if things got particularly crowded.

Contrast of the zippers vs the rest of the pack reminds me of the Patagonia black hole fanny pack.
