All sellers now realized that to trick American buyers into buying a $50 headset for $50, you just price it at $200 for one day of the year so you can tell them "normally $200".
I think for many here, it's less about getting something you want and more about getting something so much less than other people.
Not saying these are bad. I am saying don't buy them strictly because they are claiming these are $200 normally, which they're not.
I had the soundcores for a few months. They disconnect from my phone frequently and the cups have already come apart. They sound great. Anc is just ok. Comfort is good. Looking for a replacement let's see how the Sony ult compare.
Got one thanks. I got the Tune 660NC for $20. On-ear headphones still allow surrounding sound and hurt my ears after an hour. I will try over-ear headphones to solve all my problems.
To be fair, JCPenney tried to get rid of the sales, coupons and discounts and just lower their prices in 2012 and they had a significant decrease in sales. They ended up firing the CEO and going back to the frequent sales pricing strategy.
I don't know what JBL quality was like before, but based on my experience of owning 4 ~ 5 pairs of JBL headphones in the past 10 years, they are overpriced and quality is mediocre.
These are $90 new. Target has 770NC for $90 or clearance on white for $40 but YMMV.
I got them for $90 then last week saw them for $40 so bought another pair and returned the first one.

True. The model works, it's used for a reason.
