Not a big deal. The handle is designed for multiple grab points. Commercial trimmers don't have rotating handles. They have a loop handle like this one.

This is brushless and the DeWalt isn't. Per the specs the Ryobi is 400 cut strokes per minute faster. How much that matters in real-world use is hard to say.
