I have this and use it often instead of firing up the big one.
Great for small batches.

Got it just for that, plus I hope it gets hotter than my big one.

I have one of these. The control board went out after a couple of years but I keep mine outside. Replaced the control board for $50 and it's actually running better than the stock controller. These things all use the same parts so you can keep them going with replacement parts. Cooked burgers, ribs, steaks, etc it's great if you only cook for 2-4 people.

I have one for the last 4 years. It works good in general for small batches. The only issue is I keep it outside in FL sun and the covert started allowing water in, so it got all rusty. I will soon need a new one. I would only get a new one of this model if I wanted it to be mobile. I think there are better options for small regular stand grills from Pit Boss.

I absolutely love this smoker. The only complaint I have is that my gasket came off about two years in. But I just peeled the rest of it off and bought an aftermarket one to replace it.

Those they own this what type of surface do you set them on? Do you put it on a stainless steel table? Patio table? Did you build something special? I'm just trying to figure out where I could put it on my wood deck or if I need to not store it there. Maybe put it on a stainless steel cart that I could get from Costco that I could roll in and out of the garage? Looking for any advice I love smoking meat, but I am a single woman so I don't need anything large.

I had the nearly identical Z Grills version of this. Worked fine, but those intending to use it for low/slow smoking should be aware that the small cook chamber means you have a hot spot directly underneath whatever you're smoking. I had a hard time keeping stuff from drying out on that spot from the direct heat.

I have one of these for about 2-3 years now. Still going strong. Only issue I have ran into is the pellets not feeding into the chamber. I put a couple of bricks under one side and resolved the problem. Also make sure you have a table high place to put this. I ended up purchasing a stainless steel cart for it. Small enough to carry but still pretty heavy.
Good starter smoker but I would probably invest a little more money for something with a built in stand and a little larger grill area. For the price it's hard to beat for entry into smoking

I was thinking about it too. I have a 1200 cubic inch Oklahoma Joe and usually it's just me and my wife.

What's the largest meat you have smoked on it? I have a Ninja Woodfire XL that just died on me. I smoked an 11lb spatchcock turkey on it for Thanksgiving and would like to do it again this year. I don't want to buy another Ninja product though. Will this fit a turkey of that size?

Just my 2 cents. If you have a garage to store it in and will only be keeping it at the house and really love smoking meats get the Traeger that's on sale at $389.
It will perform much better than this and last longer. Also if you want to do a full brisket or something like that you'll be able to fit it.
With the cost of buying a nice cart for this the prices would be pretty comparable. Just some food for thought and good luck 👍

Ninja is really cool about replacing units for free. Try getting on a call or chat. They replaced mine.
