I prefer the frozen Armanino pesto or the Costco refrigerated pesto but am willing to try this. None of the reviews mentioned expiration dates so it may not be an issue.

I've shopped extensively in Italy and France and still haven't found a pesto I prefer over the Costco refrigerated one.

No concern over Expiration date; this is a newish product. You should however be concerned that first ingredient is sunflower oil, it has 2% or less olive oil, and zero pine nuts!

It's SO good for what it is. Top 5 product for me in the store. Can barely make it cheaper for how much basil, good EVOO and pine nuts cost.

Sunflower oil isn't pesto. The Costco refrigerated one is all EVOO?

I like the Rana basil pesto a lot more than the costco one and it's available everywhere, I believe. https://www.giovanniranausa.com/p...pesto.html

You wish. Costco Pesto also has sunflower oil as its main oil source; atleast it comes after the basil! Costco's is definitely superior, having pine nuts and requiring refrigeration. But it doesn't have much EVOO (evidenced by listing it after the pine nuts!)
