Picked up some tickets today. They're right at the entrance at least at my location! Thank you 😊

(Removed original info as it was based on a rumor before the tickets were officially released)
Honestly it depends on the scenario. If you're wanting a once-in-a-lifetime Disney trip and you're willing to spend at least a week there, then World. If you're just looking for a shorter vacation and/or you're looking to save a bit of money, then Land. But anyone who enjoys theme parks or Disney should absolutely do both at some point.

What I like about Disneyland in particular is:

1) The more chill atmosphere. It's a local's park. Most people who are visiting aren't there on a week-long vacation and staying in a Disney hotel. They're driving in from around the LA area. And so mornings are much more calm, the park feels more serene. You can also get a cheap hotel just outside the park gates and walk over in the morning, rather than riding a bus. I personally feel like you get a lot more of that random street entertainment at Disneyland.

2) The density of rides and attractions. They squeeze a lot more into that tiny space, and as a result, it's usually very easy to find short lines even on busier days. Disneyland Park has most of the best rides of Magic Kingdom (and better versions of them in many cases), plus they have Galaxy's Edge and Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway, some of the best parts of Hollywood Studios. And California Adventure has a mishmash of other great rides, some which are also found at Disney World (like Soarin and Toy Story Mania), other rides which are similar to Disney World counterparts (like Radiator Springs Racers and Mission Breakout), and some which are completely unique (like Incredicoaster and Web Slingers).

3) SoCal weather beats Florida weather any day of the week. Summer in SoCal can be hot, but it's tolerable. Summer in Florida is absolute misery.
You can go for a lot cheaper than this and still have a great time. You don't need to spend 3 days there. You don't need park hopper. You don't need lightning lanes. This is just a deal because it's a good price for a package that includes all of that for those people that would have bought all of that anyway.

Here's the number: 1947949, it was in the "Editor's Notes" at the top of the page.

Won't work. Tickets once activated, needs to be used within 13 days. You'd schedule the reservation for all three days.
Actually, you have until December 19, 2025 to use up the days; there's no 2 week window from first use to use up the days. You can spread the days as far apart as you like up until the expiration date (but limited to 6 month future window which is 3rd week of November at the moment), and you don't have to select all 3 days you want at once. You can estimate your desired visit dates the best you can and then go back and change a reservation date later if you change your mind.

I remember back in the day when they didnt do any of that fingerprint and taking pics of you at the entrance. Then you could sell off your extra days you arent using so everybody wins.

Those who want a deal on tickets get it, and those trying to save on multiday also win.

Instead Disney's greed made sure they maximize profits

I went 3 times this year on the previous deal they had for socal zip codes. Over the years I have been to disneyland probably 30-40 times. I've always really enjoyed the visits even on busy days. However, this year was different.

Imho, the corporate pencil pushers behind Disney are ruining the experience by allowing the parks to get way too packed. They aren't just busy... they are absolutely packed to the hilt. It's wall to wall people everywhere. There are some reports that Disney is allowing the parks to get even busier so they can sell more Lightning Lane passes since pretty much anybody that can afford them will get them or else wait in line hell.

I've decided to stop visiting until the company changes course. It's just not fun anymore when pretty much you just stand in endless lines all day long and enjoy only a few minutes during the entire day actually on a ride. The rest of the time you're just fighting crowds everywhere.

Don't forget to add on your Lightning Lane Premier pass for only $400 per day per person, otherwise you will be waiting in hour long lines while people that pay the $400 will be skipping past you.

I live in Socal so I have gone to Disneyland tons of times. Still love it but the prices have been crazy (I remember when it was less than $100 per person). Now, I go to downtown Disney for free. 😊
It's crazy that a trip for 2 people is now nearly $1k, even with this deal. 😲

Cheapskate me aside, this is a good deal for 3 days. That's like $125/day plus cost for the fast pass & dining credit.

The last time I went was when it was around $250 per person for 2 days (Socal only deal) then we converted it to a weekday only annual pass for roughly $300 more. Got our fill of Disneyland for a while.

As for Disneyland vs World, I love world only bc it's huge and lots more to see for someone who has been to Disneyland many times. For others who's never or rarely been, Disneyland.
Socal weather is absolutely better.

Outside those, Disneyland Paris is the best. Very chill, not too huge, not super packed (CA Disneyland is really packed now), 5-10 min wait per ride vs 30-60+ in Disneyland. Haven't been to Tokyo Disney sea but I heard it's pretty cool. HK Disneyland I heard is overcrowded and not great.

Enjoy your time if you do buy. If you're local, Disney Downtown is really great. Can easily spend 2-4 hrs basking in the Disney glow without paying (except for parking).
