Any good Walmart + subscriptions coming up that anyone has heard? Mine ran out a couple of weeks ago, but holding on just in case they offer something for previous subscribers.

I want to be clear this is my experience with Walmart+ InHome in SoCal / LA county area. Maybe it's different in other areas.
Way too much to read, but do you think Amazon drivers are that skilled? Does Amazon do anything remotely close to this? Absolutely not. We need a similar service to compare to. That's Amazon. The "wash out" comments about delivery people is about the same as my Amazon delivery people that deliver my packages across the street. A new driver every other day, and only just deliver packages. "3rd party drivers plus require (ask) for a tip". You don't have to tip if you don't want to, they will still deliver. We went over this before. Do you tip your Amazon delivery person? No. If they had an option, would you?

"The program implies all orders are handled by Walmart employees through the entire process" Please show me how Walmart implies this? Can we get a screenshot? Amazon drivers are not the one's packing the boxes, and definitely not loading the trucks. So in LA county of about 9.7million people, these are the only issues? I'd say that's great work from Walmart even attempting this. woot

Are you sure you are not conflating the In-home service with the regular Walmart+ service? The in-home service is always done by actual employees, and they've never shown up without Walmart attire or in their own vehicles. It's not a tipped service, so why would they use their own vehicles?
"Actual employees" is what's supposed to happen, but here in Ohio they were using DoorDash 😳
Yes, Doordash. Those people Walmart couldn't trust to get orders to the correct homes, are sometimes given In Home orders.

I tired Walmart+ and it wasn't worth it. Each time I used delivery it asked for a tip. Also a lot of basic items like eggs and milk gallons were not available for delivery.

I use it 3x a week for almost 5 years now. 99% of the time they refund damages in minutes through the app. You occasionally get a very uneducated person that will put your eggs and / or bread under a gallon of lemonade and half gallon of milk. At least your eggs are pretty scrambled but my wife gets passed so I just ask for a refund and boom done. Then she is happy she got 6 free eggs and can throw out the 6 pre scrambled. 🤣🤣🤣
