Percale is amazing, cool, and comfortable. A bazillion thread count does not make a good sheet. High thread counts have their place, but it is not required to differentiate good from bad. Percale has been around for a long time and is very comfy and durable. Silk, Satin, egyptian cotton, whatever your preference, if you don't know about Percale sheets, check them out.

With a lack of other information relevant to the type or quality of cotton used in these, 220 thread count is really pretty low. These sheets may be scratchy, they may not wear or launder well. They also may be fine, but I'll stick to my Costco options for now, can anyone who may have these speak to their feel or quality? I know, I know, at this price… yada-yada, just trying to provide some context to those who may also be wondering or considering.

Percale sheets = newspaper sounding

But at least they're known to be cold to the touch.

Percale usually has a lower thread count than other weaves, so 220 isn't terribly low; LL Bean Percale sheets are high quality and have 280 thread count, which isn't a huge difference.

But a good percale set costs a lot, and even the "normal" price of $20 for these sheets is incredibly low. Quality and durability are probably questionable at this price.

guys...it's $10 for a 4 piece set sheet. Even if it lasts for 6 months, that's a $20/year cost.

Your cellphone that you bought for $1000 and only use for 5 years comes out to a $200/year cost.

bought it before, good quality.
There also 400 cotton, more durable than percale but no such cooling effect at summer.

These are great sheets! I have the king orange pattern, they're actually on the bed right now. They are soft and very breathable. The extra elastic on the corners really grips the bed! I ordered two more sets to go with the two I already have.

I got the orange one from Target about 1 month ago when it was on clearence. It costed my $18 for king size and the regular price was $60. I liked it a lot and it was much better than my Amazon basics sheets. Damn I can't believe it is now this cheap on ebay. I've attached the receipt and I think they are the same one.

LOL they are on my bed as well. Where did you get them before, was it Target? I got the orange king from Target for $18 a while back.

They felt pretty bad AT FIRST, but honestly have gotten pretty soft and so far stood up to my dog's claws. I think a steal at this price.

Ebay always makes me nervous, is this dealer associated with Target? If I need to return, can I go to Target?
Anyone have experience buying through here?
