$2k for rockshox gold and other bottom dollar parts is comical compared to any GT deal

If you have 2k to drop, better to spend that on an Ibis Ripmo AF, its only a few hundred more.

Solid build... somewhat short travel but likely good for most.

I purchased a used Ripmo AF v1 last month for my son. Fantastic bike. My only issue is some seat interference with the back wheel on bigger hits... Otherwise, wowzers.

Great bike but completely different geometry and travel.

A previous year with the same 12 speed setup shows 31.5 lbs which I guess is for the small with the 27.5 wheels. That makes this on the lighter end for something in this price range. Overall, not a bad price considering it is fully built, not a bike in a box, everything aligned so you don't have to do that, and can bring it back for them to tune for free if needed. Only thing I'll bring to attention is they list out every size as being in stock. This seems to be a warning sign that they have a glut of them stacked in warehouses probably from misprojected supply chain demands during Covid. Meaning, expect to see further price reductions at season end, with all sizes available, if you can wait around.
