Another shit advertisement for a shit company by shit slickdeals. Field supply is garbage. These are probably knock off knives, or factory ran screw ups.
Field supply is NOT garbage IF you are careful on the site. I have ordered multiple times from them and have never had an unpleasant surprise.

The knives that say Gerber and Kershaw will be legitimate Gerber and Kershaw knives, and they will be cheaper than from most major retailers.

Example, the first knife listed on the Field Supply page is a Kershaw Reverb XL at $19.85. The same knife lists for me at $22.28 at Amazon.

There will be lesser quality non-Gerber/non-Kershaw brands on the same page that you will encounter as you scroll past the Gerber and Kershaw knives.

There are deals, you just have to pay attention.

i dont care what the prices are. ive bought name brand items from this store quite a few times, and those items have routinely fallen apart, frayed, broken, rusted, etc far faster than the same brand purchased elsewhere. ill never buy there again, no matter how much i save. i also dont shop places that pay slickdeals to advertise in the form of a deal post. if your prices were good enough, they would be posted to the community by real people.

the current prices of the kershaw reverb xl you save 2.50... or you could wait a few weeks and get it for less, as it has been considerably cheaper at amazon and elsewhere according to my price trackers..

Ok, 2 different opinions and experiences.

I have a gerber flatiron, which is my EDC, which I got from Field Supply last year. It's a genuine Gerber, got it for ~$15 less than what I could find it for elsewhere.

Have bought other "major brand name" stuff from them as well, always keeping in mind that you can't just mindlessly scroll down a page without paying close attention to who/what is listed.

Sorry you've had apparently bad experiences, but 100% opposed to what mine have been.

glad you had a better experience and i dont want to dismiss that experience at all. i got some under armour gear that frayed within a couple weeks of getting it. had a slumberjack backpack shoulder strap literally rip out of the pack after about the 2nd use. both of those brands ive used before and after and know what kind of quality to expect. ive ran into some folks on my various forums im on and the impression i got was that that was the pretty standard expectation.

the most egregious experience was that i bought a pair of oakleys that i confirmed 100% to be fakes.

maybe its only certain brands, but i wont trust them again.

Ohh... Be real careful not to get something on "final sale"... They really hide it on you, but if you do, you aren't returning it. No way, no how.
