the only way i would ever even consider paying this kind of money (let alone 60 dollars which is absolutely ludicrous) for space invaders, is if it included one or all versions of that particular game. and they never do! it took the concept of space invaders to the next level.
the original and even sale price for this is just utterly insane. 60 dollars for a handful of old roms. yes the game is classic but in this era it's a bit boring after a few minutes. the most recent game in this collection is from 2018, and for the collection to be this price, you would expect that game to be some amazing thing that propelled the franchise to some new stratosphere, but Space Invaders Gigamax 4 SE looks like a game that should be like 5 dollars. and in my opinion does not look as good as the 1999 Space Invaders. however, its probably the most 'valuable' game in this collection. it just looks like any other generic mobile era slop that's out there, and just as repetitive as the original game. so where the hell do they think 60 dollars of value is coming from? even $18? absolutely absurd, just bonkers.
i would maybe THINK about it, at ~$8, with all of these games, plus one (or ALL) of the versions of Space Invaders 1999.
