I pulled the trigger last time by cashing in rewards I got from work. I have to say, I love this guitar, just as a guitar. It has become my go to as it stays in tune remarkably well and the pickups sound great for my taste, heavy in the mids.
The Synth stuff is just icing on top. I must admit my favorite synth preset is one called "Game On" that sounds straight up Mario NES.

I agree that one should be happy with the instrument on its merits as a core electric guitar. Synth is just a bonus add-on.
