Warning: These mold in no time due to the more porous nature of the skin compared to PVC. Every spring during cleanup week, a number of homes toss these out half black through the length of them.
Unless put away in a garage out of the weather, they grow mold. Even on hose reels or hanging on the side of a house in humid climates, they go yuck.

I dont think this hose has a swivel end on the user side. I sent mine back a few weeks ago and replaced it with a flexzilla with a swivel end. To my disappointment, the new hose with swivel ends have PLASTIC threads instead of metal. I have 3 other flexzilla hoses for a few years now and like them. But with plastic threads, its buyer beware because its just a matter of time before they strip and leak.

Which color did you get that had plastic threads? I was going to buy another one, my previous one had metal threads but if it's plastic it's a deal breaker

I have 3 of these. Seems like the one that's done the worst is the one that's exposed to the sun more. I live in a fairly dry climate. Barely use the hose but I have it wrapped up on a hanger on the fence. Mine doesn't look like mold though. It's just turned gray and sticky.
