Yeah this thing is legit, we got the small one Xmas time and pretty much the only thing we cook on. Also live in a condo that recently banned gas grills.

I'm on the bottom floor of my condo and I got the fire department called on me when I first tried the smoker. YMMV! Otherwise, I use this pretty much a few times a week as a grill/air fryer.

Pardon my ignorance, but how does this differ than cooking in an air fryer? Do you get a better smokier flavor?

It burns wood pellets to smoke and things and gets hotter than your average air fryer

I am just curious. Is the condo still let you smoke food after the incident?

I see. Looks like the max temperature on this is 500 degrees where as most air fryers top out at 400 degrees. Does the extra 100 degrees make a big difference on the taste? I'm just learning more about "smokers".

More it has a heating element under the grill plate whereas most air fryers have just a top heating element so you can maybe get a little char. The smoke flavor makes everything delicious IMO, also made jerkey for the first time on this thing and it was awesome

Yeah I smoke pretty much every meat I cook on it, it isn't quite a traditional smoker, it's like a speed smoker? Never used a real one before but I have a ninja air fryer I use indoors and the smaller version of this guy is just awesome and easy cleanup too.

I got the stand and it's OK but I think using whatever flat surface you have outside is fine. I got a pack of Teflon sheets that make cleanup a breeze and a pop up rack so I have a little more real estate.

Another thing I like is the built in drip tray, I don't have a spot where grease can collect under my grill which is why I got this.

You aren't going to feed a party of 20 with this and get the grill taste but can for a family of four.
