totally agree. the cheesy cheddar is sickeningly salty!

this one is not so salty, or it wasn't when i got it a couple of years ago.

You've solved the mystery! Kidding, but yeah, it has 200mg per 1/4 cup. People who don't like high sodium snacks wouldn't like this. Also not a fan of the mix with added cheese powder that just makes everything blend together. Gardetto's (also high sodium) and Chex Mix Bold (not as high) are my usual go-to's. I do like snack mix but not something I'd eat an entire bag of at once; a little goes a long way for me so I usually buy the small snack bags.

I love the regular and honey roasted, but the cheese sucks. Does not come close to tasting like a cheese product.

I bought this at the end of last year when it was 60 cents cheaper. I mostly liked it as a change of pace, but still prefer my favorite snack, Cheez-Its. I won't be buying it this time.

To each his own, but these have about the same amount of salt as Cheez-It Sharp Cheddar and Parmesan crackers.

Cheez-It: 210mg per 30g serving (198mg per ounce)
Southern Style Nuts Cheesy Cheddar: 210mg per 27g serving (221mg per ounce)
11% more salt - probably not enough difference to notice unless you really hate salty snacks.

$6.43 after discount and 15% S&S - a bit more expensive per ounce than the Cheez-Its I buy at Wally's.
