They're $50 + 140% tariffs = $120.
Finally. An SSD meant for the outdoors.

Keep falling? I would say SSD prices have been slowly trending higher for the last 12 months...

Still waiting for the $50 Shenzhen SSDs to come here. Been at least maybe 5 months already since you mentioned that.

Can someone please clarify the wording of the 3 year warranty on the ORICO website (https://www.orico.cc/us/product/d...547.html)? I feel like I need a decoder ring, because no matter how many times I read it, it appears there's no 3-year warranty no matter how much or how little data is written to this SSD:
"2TB Capacity - TBW 1200TBW
Three-years warranty and TBW on a first-come-first-served basis. If the amount of data written does not exceed TBW, it will no longer be guaranteed after three years. If the data write volume reaches or exceeds TBW within three years, the warranty will not be guaranteed."

SAMSUNG T7 Shield 2TB Portable SSD, USB 3.2 Gen2, Rugged, IP65 Rated, for Photographers, Content Creators and Gaming, External Solid State Drive (MU-PE2T0R/AM, 2022), Blue https://a.co/d/beFnJyi I'm taking a long bike 🏍️ trip and have been looking at this one… If anyone can think of a reason why this wouldn't be great for Insta360 footage, would you please opine? Thanks.

I read it as... If data written is less than 1200TB then the warranty expires at 3 years. If data exceeds 1200TBW before 3 years is up then the warranty expires when the data limit is reached, before the 3 years is up. The "will no longer be guaranteed after three years" is the key in that first part; after three years.
