The leaking I noted occurs in the opaque motion sensor. If you take them apart, and use some silicon caulk around that sensor cover, you should be good.
That IP65 weather statement they put on the Amazon post does not mean ANYTHING - they could write anything up there (and they do) to sell a product. Some of these lights hold up very well but many others, as you noted from the reviews will NOT be weather proof and they are not going to use stainless steel screws...so rust and other issues will occur due to water intrusion.
Even after sealing my lights, they could not escape the teeth of my local squirrels - I have some of these lights up on trees in the yard...and the squirrels use these to grind down their teeth!!
