Hey SD staff, how much is Adorama paying you to spam the FP?
I mean... $59 = super budget to begin with lol

I don't know. If this was 6-7 years ago, I would be all about some of these Magnat speaker deals that have popped up since they started pushing their brand to the US. If I was just getting started on my sound system setup, the price point would be perfect for the learning period needed to truly appreciate high end upgrades down the line. I definitely didn't start high end but I also had a way to source dozens and dozens of brands/models on the cheap while upgrading almost constantly for a few years. I definitely appreciate the journey so it is hard to blame anyone that wants to play with a pair of bookshelves for this price.

Spring clip speaker terminals = super budget.
I can absolutely guarantee that not a single person on this entire planet can tell the difference between spring clip terminals and 5-way binding posts in a blind A/B test. Especially not for a tiny pair of 60W bookshelf speakers with 5" woofers that cost under $100.

Real high-power pro audio uses Speakons.

Get off your high horse man. I'm just trying to say that spring clip terminals are less durable than 5-way binding posts. Next.

My hearing is pretty terrible anymore but I have some Klipsch ProMedia 2.0 speakers that sound pretty darn good to this old man. You can often find them very reasonably priced. They replaced some Edifiers that had a nice sound but the Klipsch were better, IMHO.

Using 14 gauge wire with banana plugs on these things is like bolting a spoiler to a Prius.

I like Polk T15s a bit better because they're front ported, but they're over twice as much. And they don't come with 5-way binding posts either, just regular binding posts. For what these Magnats are, which is a decent pair of apartment speakers that cost less than a dinner date, they're indeed a slick deal.

Deal is still live.

It's not about the sound difference between spring clips and binding post. The point was if speakers have spring clips they are very low in.
