It was $10 once and I've keen kicking myself ever since for not seeing that post until after the sale. I have been waiting for a similar sale and this is the lowest price so far.

I've been in the same exact boat. I missed it when it was on sale for $9.99 on iTunes a year ago. I've watched the first season through iTunes today and it looks really good. The current Fanflix deal requires that you buy two TV series at $20 each via Fandango. A total of $40 and if Venture Brothers is the only thing you want, then that kind of sucks. I decided to pull the trigger for $29.99 via the iTunes sale. My understanding is the first two seasons were only released in SD. They still look good though.

Can anyone give a short summary of the premise as well as why it's so good?

It's basically a parody of Johnny quest but a wayyy better than that. If you can get through the first season it gets going. The writing is amazing

All the episodes in this bundle are sd because for some reason when you buy shows on itunes if only 1 episode doesnt have hd all of them have to be sd like the app will show hd under the episodes but when you click on them it's clearly not hd and there will be an option to purchase that hd version still

It seems fine to me, season 1 and 2 are clearly SD, but I checked Season 3 and it looks noticibely better. I did buy it using the TV app though on a Mac. And looking in the TV app there are no options to buy an HD version, just the specials. It looks like some of the specials were not included in the box set on iTunes/TV

From the Ladle to the Grave: The Shallow Gravy Story $3
A Very Venture Halloween $3
All This and Garguanta 2 $5

This probably doesn't include Radiant Is the Blood of the Heart, which is the movie made to wrap the series up after it was cancelled.

Great deal! I already own it or would buy at this price. By the way, the price does not appear in the first post title or text.

Good catch. After I bought it, the link must've changed to where it doesn't show the price. If you go to the iTunes store, search Venture Brothers and then scroll down to the box set option. It should show you the seasons 1-7 at the $29.99 price.

The three separate VB specials are sold separately and can be found on sale if you go through the separate Buy Seasons sales option. The VB movie that came out after the series was canceled is also sold separately.

Fan Flix has 2 complete series for $40 with 10% off using code WEEKEND10 and it includes the choice of The Venture Bros.

Edit: Missed this had already been mentioned.

And even season 1 is good/great at episode 9+. Tag Sale, You're It and Trial of the Monarch are two of my favorites of the series.

$10 sounded good, but i doubt it'll ever be that cheap again lol. This was a show I always to watch, so why not? In for one
